We provide a great selection of Historical Body Armour - Cuirasses and Breastplates from the Medieval and Renaissance periods, which are Fully Functional and Battle Ready. Our Functional Breastplates can be used by the SCA as well as theatrical stage work and reenactments. For this type of use we recommend using thicker steel Armour Breastplates. Most of our Armours are sold as a Cuirass which consists of both the Chest Armor (Breastplate) and the Back Armor (Back Plate).
Our Medieval Breastplates and Renaissance Breastplates are hand crafted and many are available in different steel thicknesses and are available for custom sizing and finishes. We recommend wearing our functional armor Breastplates over our gambesons or arming jacks.
