Lobster Tailed Pot Helmet with Lining 17th Century
The Lobster-Tailed Pot Helmet was used through out Europe in the 17th Century. They were used by Oliver Cromwell's followers in England's Civil War, and by the Musketeers in france. They were also used by the German's and the Dutch. This Lobster-Tailed Pot Helmet has two additional face protection bars.
This Lobster Tailed Pot Helmet is constructed from 18 gauge steel. The visor and lobster tail neck plates are articulated and the cheekplates are fitted to the helm with leather hinges. The inside of the helmet is blackened and it has an integrated, adjustable leather suspension liner. The chin strap is leather with an adjustable brass buckle.
