Korsoygaden Viking Sword - Early 12th Century Arming Sword
The Korsoygaden Viking Sword was used in 1100 AD. This sword was found in the Hedmark district of Norway in 1888, during railway construction. The sword was buried in a stone lined tomb on a farmland at Korsoygarden. This hilt represents a late surviving transitional Viking form. The sword is battle ready and includes a scabbard.
