German Edelweiss Cap Insignia - WWII Repro

Worn by Gebirgsjäger, or Mountain Troops, these Edelweiss alpine flowers are correctly made in two pieces, featuring a silver finish with a brass center, both faithfully reproduced from originals.

This large emblem with the correct WWII style straight stem was extremely popular for wear on the M-43 Bergmutze Wool Field Cap - ski cap. Commonly sewn on through the 4 holes, but 2 prongs allow for pinned attachment if preferred (40mm x 57mm).
