K98 German Rifle WWII – Non-Firing Replica (Distressed)

Adopted in 1935, the Karabiner 98k (K98) served as Germany’s primary infantry rifle throughout the Second World War and continued to see worldwide service well after 1945. This Denix-made replica captures the look, proportions, and manual handling of the original without any capability to chamber or fire ammunition. Cycle the bolt, squeeze the trigger, and adjust the rear sight for demonstration—the mechanics move, but there is no ignition, making it ideal for safe display and hands-on teaching.

The furniture is crafted from hardwood and paired with metal hardware finished to appear field-worn. Sling not included. As required by law, an orange plug is permanently fitted at the muzzle on post-1898 replicas.

Evolving from the Mauser family of bolt-action rifles, the K98k combined rugged reliability with excellent accuracy. It armed Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS infantry on every front, and after WWII thousands were repurposed by nations across Europe, the Middle East, and South America. Its silhouette remains one of the most recognizable of the 20th century.
