Japanese WWII Paratrooper Arisaka Bayonet — Replica (Battle Ready)
This Japanese WWII Paratrooper Arisaka bayonet replica captures the look and function of the original paratrooper fighting knife/bayonet. It features an 8" high-carbon steel blade finished with a deep blueing for corrosion resistance and a low-glare appearance ideal for night operations. The guard includes the rifle lug and the pommel houses the spring catch for mounting. The grip is composed of two antique-stained wooden slabs fastened to the tang with sturdy rivets. A matching blued-steel scabbard is included for storage and display.
Important: These bayonets are handcrafted. Dimensions may vary slightly and mounting compatibility with a specific firearm is not guaranteed.
The Arisaka family of rifles and bayonets was standard issue with Imperial Japanese forces from the early 20th century through WWII. Paratrooper units were issued shortened, robust blades and fittings adapted for airborne operations and close combat. This reproduction draws from that wartime lineage — reflecting the compact, utilitarian designs favored by airborne troops that needed reliable gear in demanding conditions.
